Privacy Policy
Last updated September 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MatchHome, Inc. (“Rivie,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit rivie.ai, use the Rivie web application at app.rivie.ai, or use our mobile apps (together, the “Service”).
What does this policy cover?
This policy applies to information we handle as the operator of the Service. If your brokerage or employer has a separate written agreement with us, that agreement also governs how we handle data on its behalf, and it controls if it conflicts with this policy.
What information do we collect?
Information you give us
- Account details, such as your name, email address, brokerage, and role.
- Messages you send us, such as support requests and feedback.
- Content you create or upload in the Service, such as notes and client records.
Information from sign-in providers
If you sign in with Google or through your organization’s single sign-on, we receive basic profile information from that provider: your name, email address, and profile photo.
Information from accounts you connect
If you choose to connect your Gmail account, we access email messages and related metadata (such as senders, recipients, subjects, and dates) to provide the features you turn on. See “How do we handle Google user data?” below.
Information collected automatically
- Device and log data, such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed.
- Usage data about how you interact with features of the Service.
- Information from cookies and similar technologies, described below.
How do we use information?
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Service, including signing you in.
- To deliver features you request, such as organizing client conversations from your inbox.
- To respond to you and send service-related messages.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
How do we handle Google user data?
Rivie’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, for data we receive through Google APIs, including Gmail:
- We use it only to provide and improve the user-facing features you see in Rivie.
- We do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide those features, for security, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
- We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
- We do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- People at Rivie do not read it unless you give us permission for specific messages, it is necessary for security or to investigate abuse, it is required by law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
You can disconnect Gmail at any time in your Rivie settings, or revoke Rivie’s access from your Google Account permissions page. When you disconnect, we stop accessing your mailbox and delete the email data we stored for you, as described under “How long do we keep information?”
How do we share information?
We share information only in these situations:
- Service providers that operate parts of the Service for us under contracts that limit their use of the data, such as hosting and infrastructure (Google Cloud, Cloudflare), authentication (Okta’s Auth0), and AI processing providers that do not use your data to train their models.
- Your organization, if you use Rivie through a brokerage account, which may manage your account and access data within it.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or needed to protect the rights, safety, or property of Rivie, our users, or others.
- Business transfers, as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your consent, or at your direction.
What cookies and tracking do we use?
We use cookies and similar technologies that are needed to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We may also use analytics to understand how the Service is used. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking required cookies may prevent sign-in.
How long do we keep information?
We keep account information while your account is active. If you disconnect Gmail, we delete the email data we stored for you within 30 days. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we need to keep it longer to comply with law, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse. Backups are overwritten on a regular schedule.
How do we protect information?
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest and restricted access for our personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
What are your rights?
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information.
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share it for advertising.
- Appeal a decision we make about your request.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We will verify your identity before acting and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws.
Do we collect information from children?
The Service is intended for real estate professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where is information processed?
We are based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States. If you use the Service from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to the United States.
Will this policy change?
